Beyond the primary logo, URochester uses a small set of additional marks — including icons, the Spirit R, and Rocky, our mascot. These symbols have specific guidelines and are reserved for approved contexts.
Social Media Icons
Official profile icons are provided for University social media accounts and are optimized for platform requirements. These avatars ensure our presence looks professional, unified, and meets digital best practices.
University Seal
The University seal is reserved for formal and official uses such as diplomas, certificates, and select ceremonial communications. It should never be altered or substituted for the primary logo in general applications.
Spirit R
The Spirit R is the University’s official athletics and pride mark. It may appear on uniforms, merchandise, student life materials, and other spirit-driven contexts. It should never replace the primary University logo in academic or administrative uses.
Rocky
Rocky is the face of URochester spirit. Mascot graphics can be used for athletics, student life, and community events where pride and energy are the focus. Always use approved artwork and avoid altering or redrawing Rocky.
